About RV Upfitters
Our History
Founded in 2024, RV Upfitters began as a conversation between Pete and Mike (with The Dry Campers) that stemmed from fixing negligent RV solar installations as well as branching into uncharted upfitting territory with mini-splits as a more power-efficient way to silently keep your RV warm in the winter and cool in the summer. With the birth of DIY solar camp also came mini-split upfitting.
Our Team
- Mike - 25 Year low voltage electrician with a background in electronic security and surveillance, cabinetry, and finish carpentry
- Pete - 20 Years as a CNC machinist and facility operations manager and 10 years of HVAC installation and service
- Alicia - Operations Princess and 35 years as royalty among the peasants coming on Feb. 17th. =-)
Our Services
- We offer the long-needed DIY Solar Camp: On-site with seasoned electrical veterans to guide you, in person, from design to completed installation.
- Professionally installed Mini-Split Air Conditioner conversions. Much more power efficient, and nearly silent at typically less than 50db.
- Disc Brake conversions - probably the best safety upgrade you can make.
